Kurt's truck uses 10 gallons of gas to travel 150 miles. He has 5 gallons in the tank. How much more gas will he need to drive 345 miles?

    15 miles per gallon, so he needs 18 gallons more to get there.

    345 divided by 15 because 15 miles is one gallon.(The number you get is the total number of gallons you need) Then subtract by 5 because you already have 5 gallons.
