Classify these substances as acidic, basic, or neutral: Vinegar, baking soda, tomato juice, sugar

    an acidic substance is the one with pH value less than 7 where as a neutral substance has pH value of 7. basic substances are also known as alkaline and they have pH value of more than 7. thus vinegar is acidic, baking soda is basic, tomato juice is acidic and sugar is neutral
