Martina chose a random sample of 10 bags of candy from two different Brands, A and B. All bags in the sample are the same size. Martina counts the number of candy pieces in each bag and plots the results on two dot plots. src="http://learn.flvs.net/webdav/educator_mjmath2_v14/module08/interactive/08_08_02/images/08_08_02_assessment1.gif" Based on the plots, which statement is a valid comparison of the number of candies in the bags of the two Brands? A. The number of candies in the bags from Brand B is greater and more consistent than the number of candies in the bags from Brand A. B. The number of candies in the bags from Brand B is greater and less consistent than the number of candies in the bags from Brand A. C. The number of candies in the bags from Brand B is fewer and more consistent than the number of candies in the bags from Brand A. D. The number of candies in the bags from brand B is fewer and less consistent than the number of candies in the bags from brand A.
Do you have a plot for B?
Are you sure? Cause it says they gave you two dot plots. If they only gave you Company A there isnt enough info to make a decision.
i dont see any other plot
that is all i see in the page^
Good! You gave me Company B! Now we can make a decision.
Basically, what i see is that compared to Company B, Company A is pretty consistent in their candies. But technically Company B has more because they go up to almost 70 where Company A does not. I would go with B
ok ty i have one more question if you could help me with that
Evelyn goes to a middle school that includes grades 6, 7, and 8. She wants to estimate the percentage of students in the school who ride the bus to school. She selects a random sample of 200 students to survey who are attending an after-school activity. She determines that 38% of the students at the activity ride the bus to school. Which statement about Evelyn's sample is true? A. The sample is the percentage of students who ride the bus. B. The sample might not be representative of the population because it only includes students who are attending an after-school activity. C. The sample shows that exactly 38% of the students in the school ride the bus.
B, it cant wait A because it is not just a "bus only kids after school activity" and it isn't B because it never said 100% of the kids from the school showed up to the activity
it cant be A*
so whats the answer
I mean it isnt C
Sorry, im all over the place
Its B lol
lmao its fine
