    sin 360 as you can see from the graph above is zero the cosine equal is zer

    just look at the unit circle (x,y) solution where x-coordinate represents cos and y-coordinate = sin tan = sin over cos

    I think you are right, does she get the concept of cos? a unique relationship in a right angled triangle...measuring the adjacent over hypoteneuse.. we extend it further to graphs, but they are only circles
