Two groups of students made plans to help their school prepare for tornadoes. The first group suggested having tornado drills to help students identify basements and other safe areas during tornadoes. The second group suggested making the school building tornado proof by using special materials for doors and windows. Why is having tornado drills to help students identify safe areas a better method to prepare for tornadoes than using special materials for doors and windows.
