Which of these would cause two groups of people who lived a few miles apart to develop different languages? a mountain range similar cultures use of fire for cooking trade and commerce

    Two groups of people who trade and commerce with each other's groups are prone to learn each other's language. Try again :)

    Similar cultures are more likely to know the same language. Although there's cultures that exists that one can be the same but the language is different, a culture tends to have the same language but not for all the cultures.
