7 cos 33° sin 33 degrees divided by 7 7 sin 33° cos 33 degrees divided by 7

$\sin(x)=\frac{\text{opposite}}{\text{hypotenuse}}\\ \cos(x)=\frac{\text{adjacent}}{\text{hypotenuse}}\\ \tan(x)=\frac{\text{opposite}}{\text{adjacent}}=\frac{\sin(x)}{\cos(x)}$

Sin 33 = x over 7 x = 7 times sin 33 x =3.81

10. sebastiangonzagonza

so would i choose the second answer?

ccan you help me with one more please??

16. anonymous

I do cross multiply : 7 times ( sin33)

17. anonymous

yes

19. anonymous

so for this one you finding the hypotenuse( base of the triangle), right?

20. sebastiangonzagonza

i believe so

21. anonymous

now look at the figure, is the same thing again : opposite over hypotenuse => sin 68 = 14 over x x times (sin 68) = 14 x = 14 over sin 68 x = 15.1 or 15.10 depend on how much they want you to round (15.099)

Is C but I don't know what is Sec, I know only know Sines

23. sebastiangonzagonza

okay thank you so much
