I say A. Because they werent exactly meant to be ridden. Evolution wasnt like oh people want to ride these animals so we need to make it easier for them to. Evolution is about whats best for the animal and what will help that species to survive and thrive in their environment. Therefore storing water (A) is the only logical answer.
