    I don't believe I do at the moment. I am trying to teach myself calc and this problem came up. Can the answers only be 0 or 1?

    no... for both, sine and cosine, the values range between -1 to 1 and have your ever looked over the following formulas?

    cool.. now try to divide 225, into a multiple of 90 + something. and you'd get 180 + 45 now, apply the respective formula on any the lengthy counterpart..
