    As to what I can remember they were destructive to native species and had no natural predators. !

    The answer is B as the cane toads were introduced to eliminate the cane beatles that were damaging the sugar cane crops but no effect on the cane beatle population was seen. Also, the toads were detrimental for the environment because they had no natural enemies and ate native species. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cane_toads_in_Australia
