    Let me rewrite this: 19k+18-22k=16-(3k-2) 19k-22k+18=16-3k - (-2) -3k+18 = 16-3k+2 -3k +3k +18 = -3k +3k +18 18=18 ?? @.@

    yeah beacause if you break ( ) and you got a minus in front of it, it look like this -(a+b) = -a-b -(a-b) = -a +b
