anonymous one year ago Differential equation stuff if sin(xy) = x, then dy/dx = ?

@ganeshie8 @Kainui @iambatman

2. anonymous

$\int\limits y = \int\limits \frac{ \sin^{-1} (x) }{ x }$ not sure what to do after this, is this even right?

3. anonymous

Seems this is just a implicit differentiation problem

4. anonymous

So find the derivative of sin(xy)=x so this requires chain rule and product rule

5. anonymous

so do you want me to find y' ?

6. anonymous

Yup

7. anonymous

dy/dx = y'

8. anonymous

$\frac{ -y \cos(xy) + 1 }{ x \cos(yx) }$ ?

9. anonymous

Yup!

10. anonymous

wait is that it !?!

11. anonymous

Yup, that's dy/dx :)

12. anonymous

okay thank's for the help :D !!!

Yw :)
