Are you talk about Karnap(?) map procedure to minimize the implementation of a truth table. If consist of a square with 2^x blocks, where x is the number of indipendant digital variables. The labeling could get hairy with large x, with x = 2 the left is marked A, not A, and top is marked B, not B, the from table AB, AnotB, ect are then marked. Adjoining marks are then Anded together. I suggest getting some basic texts in library or you may find help on the internet.
