Quadrilateral ABCD in the figure below represents a scaleddown model of a walkway around a historic site. Quadrilateral EFGH represents the actual walkway. ABCD is similar to EFGH.
EFGH is shown where EF is 72 ft.
ABCD is shown where AB is 6 in. BC is 3 in. CD is 3in. and DA is 4 in.
i have to find out the length of the actual walkway.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0EF is proportional to AB Since you know the length of EF and AB you can do 72/6=12. 12 is than the scale factor to find the length of FH you can do 12BC=36, GH=36 and EG=48
