Using your notes about loyalty in the first act of Julius Caesar, describe the character Cassius as either a betrayer or a patriot. Your opinion of this character may change as you analyze the other acts, but your response to this question should focus on Act I only. Write one paragraph of three to five sentences to support your observation of Cassius. Use proper spelling and grammar. My answer: I see Cassius as a patriot. Although it may seem that he is betraying Caesar, Caesar really isn't a good person, and does not deserve to be a ruler. It is described that he treats his servants badly and believes that he is better and more important than anyone else. I believe that Cassius is doing the right thing by trying to bring Caesar out of power. Does this sound okay?

Most of these seem correct. Except you have to remember that Antony is only really after his own power, and as such dose not really care if Caesar dies, or not. I do think you answered correctly with Antony, however; as for the sake of appearrences he acts like he supports Caesar.

The assignment I just read only asked that I read Act 1, then with later assignments, continue with it. Is that revealed about Antony in Act 1 because I don't remember reading it?
