eye size and position - nocturnal animals have larger eyes to gather more light as it gets dark; prey animals have eyes to the sides of their heads, so they have a larger field of vision (they can see more area around them to see an approaching preadtor) while predators usually have forward-facing eyes for binocular vision, so they can judge distance (to their prey) better adaption of limbs for locomotion - monkeys, apes, opposums have flexible finger/toes for climbing, fish have fins, and some amphibians have webed feet for swimming, hooved animals are good runners fur/shedding - for better insulation in cold seasons, less insulation is needed when it's warm
