    You see, square root of 1 is just 1, but square root of 2, 3 and 5 are infintely long. Therefore the 1 can be expressed as a fraction lie this 1/1

    @science00000 I rational number is a number that can be written as the ratio of two \(\mathbf{integers}\). Clearly \(\frac{\pi}{1}\) is the ratio of two NUMBERS but it is NOT rational.
