    ratios are just fractions....so 34 laptops out of 116 computers can be written as 34/116. Now to put this in simplest form, just reduce it. ============================== round to nearest thousands before adding.... 75,364 rounds to 75,000 and 472,756 rounds to 473,000... now just add them....75,000 + 473,000 = your answer
