The lengths of two sides of a triangle are 14 inches and 4 inches. Which of the following dimensions is the third side of this triangle? 10 inches 11 inches 8 inches 9 inches

    On the other problem, it os 36 percent because o forgot to tell you to subtract it by 100 percent because it is NOT in the shaded

    The sum of two sides of a triangle has to be bigger than the other side. It can't be equal.

    Yes. It is 11 because 11+4 is greater than 14

    let x be the third unknown side 14-4 = 10 14+4 = 18 the third side x must satisfy this inequality 10 < x < 18 for a triangle to be possible

    The numbers only go up to 11 so it can only be 11 for it cannot. Be 10 in which it would make a strait line
