Why is the OpenStudy favicon always orange? Earlier, it used to work like this: - Blue, if there were no new notifications. - Orange otherwise.

Hi there, Welcome to openstudy :) I'm not sure what you are talking about....it works fine for me when i get a notification the blue owl turns orange....its not always orange and then when im done looking at the notifiers its blue again and the process repeats :P

correct, most likely you have a notification but the site had a hiccup for a second and was not able to register the new notificaiton, and only detect that there was one, if you refresh you should either see no notification (meaning that the site was unable to detect if the notification was checked) or a notification (indicating the original answer)

Yeah, if that's what you mean, the server just needs a few minutes to catch up to the new notifications, unless you get tagged (which is immediate).
