    Google "types of fossils" and read the relevant articles. There seems to be many definitions, depending on the level of learning. Examples: http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/dinosaurs/dinofossils/Fossiltypes.html https://quizlet.com/1584445/5-different-types-of-fossils-flash-cards/ http://elementalblogging.com/3-types-of-fossils/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fossil If you have a list of options, it would be easier to figure out what is to be expected.
