    because x is the 'opposite angle to y they are equal (x=y) you can find y because tha three angles in a triangle always add up to 180

    so - looking at the bottom triangle you know the angles are 55, 30 and y since they add to 180 can you tell me what y is?

    what's not to get? when to straight lines cross (imagine a pair of scissors) then the 2 angles opposite each other are always equal (as you opent ht 'handle of the scissors - so yo uopen the blades the same: |dw:1440180093265:dw| so you worked out y = 95 |dw:1440180143889:dw| X is opposite y so what is x?
