Urban sprawl can affect the environment because as people move from rural areas to urban areas it becomes overcrowded. heat islands cool down. farmlands become replaced with buildings and roads. farmlands become bigger.

    It's very easy..What happens when the number of people increases in a city? The requirement of more houses. Right?
