Whiteboard markers cost $4.75 per set at an office supply store. Which equation can be used to determine the price, P, of n sets of these markers? p = 4.75 n = 4.75p p = 4.75/n n = 4.75/p

    well since you said how it will cost for two sets so i multiplied the price for one set by two

    most people would multiply 2*4.75

    if you bought 3 sets you would do 3*4.75 it looks like the rule is multiply the number of sets times 4.75

    now even though we use a letter "n" instead of a number we can still use that same rule.

    n sets how much to buy "n" sets? use the same rule.

    it would be price is n times 4.75 or if we shorten that up price = 4.75n (which means the same thing) or p= 4.75n I don't see that as one of your choices, but that is the answer.
