Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2and if you sold 3 shirts you would do 11.25*3 or 4 shirts 11.25*4 it looks like the rule is " multiply 11.25 times the number of shirts" if the number of shirts is a "letter" n we should still use that rule.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2in algebra , if we multiply a number times a letter , we don't bother to put in the multiply sign, so we write 11.25*n as 11.25n (it means the same thing, multiply them)
