Look at the authors word choice that shows how the authors feeling look at adjectives and verbs and use those things from the text to put under the theme category look at the second stanza first line that would be an example of tone
You can also look at the word choice in each paragraph to describe the diction Diction is how someone is trying to say something its like it I said "get out my way" vs. saying "excuse me" saying get out of my way would be rude diction and the other would be demonstrating being polite. Get it ?
