Not a Hint: any value to the power 0 = 1 for example 3^0 = 1

5. welshfella

replace x by 0 in your function and what do you get?

6. anonymous

0

7. welshfella

e^0 = 0 ?

8. anonymous

idk

9. welshfella

3^0 = 1 so e^0 = 1 right - anything value to the power 0 = 1

10. welshfella

but here we have 7 ^ e^0 = ?

11. anonymous

7

hint: $\Large f\left( x \right) = {e^x}$ is a continuous function, at all points of its domain, so we have: $\Large \mathop {\lim }\limits_{x \to 0} {e^x} = {e^0} = 1$

13. welshfella

yes
