    Start and zero and then move left 3 and then left another 5. Your will be at -8,

    @geny55 Michele_Laino explains it good in the first reply she made on this comment - you should probably be able to put it into your own words by now since people gave a lot of explanations - so try putting it into your own words :)

    two steps 1) find -3 (put you pencil on 0 and count 3 steps to the left) 2) once you are at -3, move 5 more steps to the left (left because -5) the number you are at after the 2nd step is the answer.

    so is this a good answer to put? 1. First thing to do is to find -3. 2. Then put the pencil on 0 and count 3 steps to the left. 3. Once you are at -3, move 5 more steps to the left (left because -5). 4. Then you are left at -8. ( -8 is the answer )

    yes, but your steps 1 and 2 should be combined into 1 step.
