what is one long-term cost of adding to national debt? 1.American in the future must have fewer public services. 2.Americans in the future will not vote in elections. 3.Americans in the future will not enjoy the benefits of the program. 4.Americans in the future must find a way to pay back the money.

    I would choose number 4. if you think about it, a country in debt is not able to build up an army or even pay the soldiers. and if it owes other countries money and it cant pay them back, it would look bad for the country and cause problems with the other countries

    I would say #4 also but i wouldent use the same example but i guess it gets the point across.
