let's do B |dw:1440698571984:dw| negative sign front of parentheses is a police man parentheses is a door we can't open the door without shaking hand with the police man okay in math form i want to say you have to distribute parentheses by negative to remove the parentheses

when both numbers are negative then you should `add` but keep the negative sign example `-2-3=-5` when you have two numbers one is positive and one is negative then ~if bigger number is negative answer would be negative (subtract) `-3+2==-1` ~if bigger number is positive then answer would be positive `3-2=1`

so 11-34 would you have to subtract 34 is greater than 11 so that would be at the top |dw:1440699034759:dw|subtract!
