    That would be C, 'it provides general information about the topic.' It is most likely not A, since it COULD be a fact, but is more likely an opinion, or B, because it is not an example of anything, and it isn't D, as a proper thesis is a statement or theory that is put forward as a premise to be maintained or proved.
