Bob made $970 a week while Jim made $763 a week. How much more (in percentage) did Bob make more than Jim? I know Bob made $207 more than Jim but i can't figure the percentage of how much more Bob made than Jim.

well if we take Jim's pay as the 100%, that is, 763 is the 100% then how much in percentage did Bob? or what is 207 in percent, from 763? well \(\begin{array}{ccllll} \$&\% \\\hline\\ 763&100\\ 207&x \end{array}\implies \cfrac{763}{207}=\cfrac{100}{x}\implies x=\cfrac{207\cdot 100}{763}\)
