oh balls.... the shore is a continuum, it just runs all the way in the vertical direction thus, her velocity relative to the shore is 2.5 kph, assuming that she is trying to sail right across from shore to shore and even if the current is pulling her south at 1.2kph, her velocity relative to the opposite shoreline is 2.5kph
