Based on your knowledge of root words, what does -astro- mean? Light Earth Star Sound

    Right away you can cross out sound. When you are doing something like this, you try and think of words that have that in it, like astrology and astronaut. Astro is a Greek root word, coming from 'astron' (star). Definitions for the word range from outer space to 'indicating a heavenly body'. Keeping all of that in mind, I can tell you right now that the answer is Star.
