    @freckles @Nnesha, I know the definition of continuity and discontinuity for precal, but I'm not sure what this would be considered.

    continuous are those functions or graphs which can be drawn without lifting the pen :)

    an example of discontinuous graph can be the graph of tan function :)

    yes it is cause u have to life ur pen when u reach that limit point where the the value of the function is not defined :)

    Why are you not 100% sure? You said "continuous are those functions or graphs which can be drawn without lifting the pen" And I'm sure we can draw U-shape curve without lift pen.

    that function is continuous within its domain so it is continuous
