Sodium sulfate reacts with carbon to produce the products sodium sulfide and carbon monoxide. Identify the reducing agent in the following reaction. Na2SO4 + 4C yields Na2S + 4CO A)Na2SO4 B)C C)Na2S D)CO Pleaseee help I think it's A but i'm not sure. Will give a medal :)

    yes - it takes oxygen for the sodium sulphate thus reducing it to sodium sulphide
