    For part A, the y intercept is when y is equal to zero. If you look at your data, you already have the y intercept value.

    Part A y-intercept the value of y when x = 0 read Part B average rate of change of the function = slope = change in y divided by change in x f(3) -f(1) / 3-1 = what does change in distance / time represent? Part C what is the value of t when y = 0 how long does it take to get to the destination? the domain is the set of x-values that satisfies the function domain will be from 0 to t t is the time
