## anonymous one year ago Yolanda has a gourmet coffee shop with two different types of coffee. Type A costs $5.95 per pound and Type B costs$7.00 per pound. A customer wishes to purchase a mixture of theses, using two times more of Type A than Type B. If the total cost for the customer is \$56.70, how many pounds of each did the customer buy?

You have to write a system of equations using the information they provided. Do you know how to do that?

2. anonymous

well i know the first equation: it would be 5.95x+7y=56.7

3. anonymous

but i do not know what i have to do next

4. BloomLocke367

sorry i was afk first equation is correct good job 2nd one two times more of Type A than Type B according to ur equation x= type A , y= type B so x is 2 times more than y equation would be x=2y 1st equation $\rm 5.95x+7y=56.7$ 2nd equation $\rm x=2y$ now i guess you can find x and y let me know if you need help
