At one point, there were approximately 3.7 billion Internet users worldwide. a. If approximately 3/20 of the users lived in country X, estimate the number of Internet users in X at this time. b. How many Internet users were in country Y if approximately 19/ 100 of the worldwide users lived in Y?
@ganeshie8 @Hero @jim_thompson5910 @satellite73
@Nnesha @dan815 @pooja195 @zepdrix
for part a) they want you to multiply 3/20 by the total number of internet users so (3/20) times (3.7 billion) = ???
yes, 555 million (a little over half a billion)
same idea applies to part b) as well
I tried both ways and it was wrong. @jim_thompson5910
so it won't accept 500 million? or 555 million? or half a billion?
nvm it must have been a computer glitch It told me I was wrong, and then when I typed it again it said i was wrong and gave me the answer i just put it. sorry
