    here you are given with the total mass of solution and mass of one reactant ... ok make an balance equation in which you will see that one Cl combine with one Na to form NaCl so ... given data NaCl=234g Cl=0.142kg convert this in grams =142g now subtract this mass from total mass of solution 234-142=mass of Na
