The number of arrangements with the designated card at the right end is 4! Therefore the number of arrangements that are not allowed is (4! + 4!). The total number of arrangements with no restrictions is 5!. Therefore the number of arrangements with the designated card not at either end is given by: 5!  (4! + 4!) = you can calculate.
