    write it like you read it... 1/3 of a number -- let the number be n....and " of " means multiply... so this would be written like : (1/3)n increased by 12 -- increased means add so that would be : + 12 put it all together and you get : 1/3n + 12 your leaning in the right direction...lol....It would be A
