    know what its made out of, but I'm not entirely sure where it came from. is there choices are is this just a question?

    I found out where it originated. The first modern documented use of chickpeas to make humus in the middle-east, is from the age of the crusaders. What few people know is that humus was also mentioned in the Tanach, which is the sacred book of Judaism
