    First, find the mean. Add all of the numbers together and divide by the number of games there were (5). The mean is 4. Mean Absolute Deviation. The Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) of a set of data. is the average distance between each data value and the mean. (Measure in positive numbers) 3- 1 from mean 2- 2 from mean 6- 2 from mean 5- 1 from mean 4- 0 from mean Add 1, 1, 2, 0, and 2 to get 6 and divide it by 5 (# of quanities) 1.2 is the MAD.
