1. is correct 2. is also correct, although be careful when you're writing that in 1 line. You wrote $$6/x+y$$ which means $$\frac{ 6 }{ x }+y$$. I think you meant $$\frac{ 6 }{ x+y }$$, which you have to write with parentheses as $$6/(x+y)$$. 3. quotient indicates division, so that should be y/6.
