do you know what the order of operations is with respect to parentheses?
have you heard of PEDMAS?
i know PEMDAS i have a thing that says Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally with a lil aunt sally there
PEDMAS is an acronym which helps [eople to remember the order of operations ParenthesesExponenentialsDivisionMultiplicationAdditionSubtraction so you can see that parentheses are the first operation you deal with.
So in this we should simplify the brackets 1st. Then it would be 27 + 44 right?
So you must know one of the correct choices
i always become a fan of people who i know OR if they are very intelligent
but which answers do i choose? i have to pick only the right answers
well one has been mentioned by Rushwr
- the use of order of operations
i know i have to butits because its a test
The answer would be A
the other one makes use of the associative property a + (b + c) = (a + b) + c
thank you but it has to be 1 more answer i can only choose 2 answers that are correct
A is right for one of them
27 + ( 3 = 41) = (27 + 3) + 41
* that = should be a +
* ( 3 + 41)
you know what im just gonna put a wild answer -_-
- don't need too - I've just given you a big clue to the second answer
66% for my assesment
i have got another question maybe you guys can help plz?
Post it separately please
