Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0A. Its parent function was reflected and translated left B. Its parent function was stretched and translated left C. There are 5 roots and at most 4 relative extrema D. There are 4 roots and at most 5 relative extrema E. The left end goes down and the right end goes up F. The left end goes up and the right end goes down

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2Ok, so in the case of polynomials, if there's a negative out of the parenthesis in front of the x, then the parent function is reflected. Inside the parenthesis, there is a positive 4, which translates the graph left, this means one of your answers is A. Now because the graph was reflected over the axis, the right end goes down, and the left end goes up, making another answer F. Because the polynomial is to the fifth power, that means that there are five roots, making C a true answer.
