Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0so let x be the number so then \[x^2 = 2x + 48\] or \[x^2  2x  48 = 0\] you need to solve for x, this can be done by factoring you will have 2 solutions, 1 positive and 1 negative hope it helps
