What would be the best microscope to view living single-celled organisms in a sample of pond water?

    electron microscope

    light microscope because you can't use electron microscopes on living organisms and you can easily see the organisms with a light microscope

    as it can zoom up to 10,000,000x where as light microscope can only zoom upto 2000x

    I believe you are mistaken @insa as it sais in the question living organisms and electron microscopes cant be used on living organisms, it sais nowhere in the question that that kind of magnification is needed
