    @kittymeow101 I would say scientists use them by comparing and researching on them of their habitats and kinds. Researching makes them to list the \(Experimental~Object\) as you have listed. For Example: Growing of Seed. They observe and Measure the way it becomes a tree/plant/shurn or watever.
